quote]reports that both Hudman and Haynes were injured. I guess you move McCann to Safety since he has experience there. That leaves:

CB Brandon Jones or Derrius Bell
S Bryan McCann
S De'Von Bailey
CBJonathan Lindley

Its too late but I think Brandon Jones looks more like a Safety than a CB.
Lowery will move to CB.

I'd just like to see Bell play some and see what he can do. He always seems fired up and looks like he wants to show what he can do, but so far the coaches won't let him. Bailey got his chance Saturday and looked decent in coverage but his tackling, like everyone elses, needs improvement.

quite frankly Bailey looked EXTREMELY tentative-big deal-that's what freshman do until they get experience. If we didn't want o deal with that he should have been redshirted. But I couldn't believe they didn't try to test Bailey more-I guess when you average 10 ypc why pass?

I'd like to see more of Bailey out there now that we're playing for Next season and we've burned his redshirt. Any lineup that features Bailey and Bell starting or at least getting substantial playing time works for me.

I'm sure we've got a spare QB lying around we could move to safety. No worries.

check that-the DMN reports both Bailey and Hudman are still being evaluated for injuries. Also Haynes and Tommy Poynter are probably out for the year

James Mapps? Haha was nearly recruited by several schools as a db...translates to being just as good as anybody on this defense

Seeing that the coaches wont run the ball more than 10 times a game, we might as well take advantage of his talents on defense. Saw him play DB in highschool and he was a STUD!

Your right drs1310, he was recruited by Oklahoma and North Texas as a DB, but everyone else recruited him as an offensive player....So he could very well be as good as any of our other db's.
