All Darth knows is that since the beginning of the blogoshpere Stallion has been preaching "the m****." This was seen on the old Maniacs board when squirrels were used to generate power for PC's.

For the "I told you so crowd," Darth said that this was a disaster after Paul Johnson schooled PB on the option and the F-14's napalmed the end zone. (There are witnesses to his statements).

Coach Bennett did get off on the wrong foot with that Navy loss when the team was completely unprepared for the option offense that came out onto the field. Bennett took the blame for that loss. And that started the wolves howling and the dogs barking from that day forward.

The ponyfans board was in full sunshine mode back then; you and I were residents of the old mustangmaniacs.

If I remember correctly from the mm.com days, Stallion was intrigued by Charlie Waters, but said that nothing will change unless we fix the model. ie allow transferable credits for jucos, compete on a level playing field with our natural and traditional rivals. That is a stark contrast to now, where Stallion is actually frustrated with our inability to compete in CUSA.
