I know what I am talking about IDIOT and it takes one to know one. Some of ya'll are so arrogant and [deleted] like can't nobody introduce themselves but I won't post on this board no more.

Listen closely. Very closely. Very very closely, and I say it with the utmost of humility.

Now listen....... We are not Baylor. We are SMU. We are not in Baylor's conference. We are not in the same town as Baylor and we are not associated in any way. We are also not in Baton Rouge. We are in Dallas. We are the only Division 1 school in Dallas. We never were in the SWAC but did have a long time in the SWC but that was years ago. If you need Baylor information, call Al Gore and get their web site or stop in any Baptist church and ask directions.

But please feel free to stop by and visit any time.

(and just as a little help for your future, it is "I won't post on this board any more" not "no more".)

I want to apologize to you for my rudeness. We play Southern this year and I hope we have an exciting game against your guys.

My problem is that you seem only to want to talk about your game with Baylor and I still do not understand that. Talk about your game in Dallas with SMU. We look forward to an exciting game and with all of our new kids, who knows what the outcome will be.

But until then, again, please accept my apologies for my rude response and please feel free to contnue to post on our board at your own risk.

actually, my stepdaughter's godfather got his JD there. He'd be the first to tell you that he went to SU because that's where he got accepted. Turned out pretty well for him too, as he owns a title company in BR.

You might want to keep in mind that most things posted on our little message board are said tongue in cheek. At first glance, it may appear offensive or vitriolic, but once you've read a few threads you'll get the idea.

Actually I have been on Southern's campus on business. A very pretty campus sitting on a bend in the MS River. While I do not know anything about the undergraduate school, I am familiar with the law school and know several fine attorneys who graduated from there. While the law school is lower tier, it is accredited and it provides a valuable resource for Louisiana. As for SMU being lame, I would invite you to compare the overall academic programs of both schools and the economic value of a degree from each school. In any event, this board is about SMU basketball. We look forward to playing your team November 10 after our victory over Rice in football.
