A guy in my office who attended Nebraska and keeps tabs on their rumors, said Bo Pellini is the guy and that a number of Osborne assistants will return (including perhaps Turner Gill). Since our hiring guidelines probably require interviewing at least one minority, Turner Gill and Doug Williams should be on that list.

Bo makes sense at Nebraska, and that would be a blessing for us i think if we could snare Gill.

i can't imagine Gill returning as an asst. over a HC job anywhere, even if it is at nebraska.

I think that with the kind of money we are going to throw out there, gill will come if he is offered...We will be spending...

I think Bowden is the front-runner but I like Gill the most of all the prospects.

Bo Pellini left Nebraska when Frank Solich was hired after TO left. A lot of people in Nebraska thought Pellini should have been hired, and it was my view that Pellini didn't leave under the best conditions.

He would be a great fit at Nebraska where the black shirts are in obvious need of some help. I said something on here about Gill months ago and I still think it would be an AMAZING fit.

It depends on if Osborne thinks Gill is ready to lead the Nebraska program, if he does it is SMU's loss. If not Gill is from DFW, has worked at SMU and is a great recruiter which is something we need desperately.
