As I posted in another thread if they don't want to be here do not let the door hit them on the way out. Golly somebody said something to me that I didn't like. So I will give up a free education, when just maybe I am not as good of a football player as I think that I am.

and what if the team finishes 5-7? (not likely) but why jump ship? everybody is returning that really matters? hopefully the Big O signs a really big name coach that would make guys want to stay... remember when these guys signed they weren't signing with a team that had just been to a bowl game, or even a team that had a winning record... if they want to leave fine, we don't want those kind of players anyways

Hey, good luck to them. I am sure there are any number of Division 1 programs out there just chomping at the bit to recruit them as transfers, especially considering the promise they've shown this year.

I really hope we run the table, that would be the best case scenario!

How much longer do we have before the board of regents move in and cancel this thing we call football?

So u think its over?

You can only loose money for so long, and our athletic programs can't be making any with all the loosing we have been doing. Orsini stated that we will have to raise money to pay the next HC a decent salary, if you call what some of you think 1.5 mil as decent.

The list of college head coaches that make over $1.5 million cannot be very long, so I guess that's decent. Probably not for a high wage earner like you though, big daddie.

I usually don't read bigdaddy's posts, but when I do, it's hard to read them without imagining the voice of Grape Ape saying those words. You know what I mean?

If they're that freakin' stupid, I wish them luck. Did they think it was going to get any better if nothing changed??? And, by the way, where do they think they can play... East Texas Easy? Mountain View? Notre Dame? This is good, though... scholarships available for the new coach's recruits.

There are some players that would be attractive to Division 1-A programs as transfers. But many of the sophomores and juniors have used up their redshirts and thus would only be available for one year at most. I can probably count on one hand the players who would be attractive to Division 1-A programs with multiple years of eligibility left.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/graphics ... /flash.htm

No-one in C-USA had a higher salary than PB and only one Big 12 coach makes more than 1.5 million.

Of course you probably have much more relaible data than USA Today, but, you probably wont share in case it lessens your "mystique".

Not a rumor, heard it from the players, who stated they can be recruited by other schools. And the players who are listening are the redshirt fresh and freshmen. I would not dare share names with you, because you are the enemy, one of the people who bash the players and the program. You will see when the next so called football seasln begins.

I thought we didn't have players. I thought we just had students on the football team. Which is it?
