He could've got UT, A$M, or anybody back then, but he chose us.
Probably, he got payola from the above, and besides, one of those A$M
sharp shooters would've nailed his @ss considering the D threats he

ive been in dallas for almost 2 years now and this is the first ive heard of the Dallas Observer. after reading this article, i now see why

Word back then was, that Stanley was paid a big camera fee from channel 8.

I like Richie Whitt's columns every week and thought he did a pretty good job, sure it was mainly to tell the story to people not that familiar with SMU, but I thought it was a good and entertaining retelling of the episode.

He did a good article on Doherty a few months back, very positive and funny....
