what a typically [deleted] statement. Come talk to me 4-5 years later. High school Seniors have rarely helped a football program-that I can recall.

I know it takes at least a couple of years to see what a class is going to become. I just wanted to see if you were awake.

They had a pretty good class last year too. It's really paying off.

Just like the 5 years that Gerry Faust was the coach of ND. He had been one of Dan Devine's biggest critics even when Devine won the national championship so he was Devine's replacement when his contract expired. As I recall his recruiting classes were ranked near the top for all 5 years of his contract by the recruiting services at the time yet Faust NEVER produced a winning season even with all the talent that he recruited. Guess his "model" didn't work. Maybe coaching does make a difference?

Well ya this guy is an idiot.

Haywood is from the Houston area where he attended my alma mater (St. Thomas High School). He wouldn't be a bad hire IMO. He was nominated for Assistant Coach of the Year I believe.

Although you wonder how much an OC for Weis does. I mean Weis calls all his own plays.

You are an idiot.

I may be, but read his bio. He is the perfect fit. Has recruited in Texas and has ties to High School coaches in Texas. He is from Houston metro, not Dallas. He is our man! Nobody fits the criteria better.

This has got to be the dumbest post ever.

Did you just throw out the dumbest post ever comment?
Did you do the proper research?

I am not even sure that this is even the dumbest post of the week much less forever for bigdaddy08091.

However, we have to remember that bigdaddy08091 is a large man who has giant fingers. This in turn impacts his typing and spelling abilities. This results in crazya$$ posts that make no sense and gives the impression that bigdaddy08091 was indeed a graduate of the Dexter Manley School for the Gifted and Talented.

You like my fingers? You should see my.... At least Dexter played school boy!

I am telling you Stallion, he is our man. No skeletons in his closet that we know of, and the bio/resume speaks for itself.

he is the offensive coordinator of the most underperforming offense in the nation. I think we'll pass.

sounds like PHil Bennett reincarnated. The best fit is Turner Gill.
