Applewhite would be a terrible hire. He was a bad OC at rice and if you havent seen alabamas offense there terrible.

Hmmm...pretty sure Rice went to their first bowl in forever last year with Applewhite at OC. Alabama is putting up over 30 points a game in the best conference in the country. If he is willing to come to SMU open the checkbook and pay him whatever he wants! Sure he has never been a HC but he is gonna get his shot somewhere and it might as well be here.

You might have to subtract at least 7 points off that total because I believe that at least one of Bama's TDs came from special teams.

Hmm pretty sure i saw UH completely shut down alabama after the first quarter. Hmm pretty sure UH defense is pretty bad. SMU's program really must be in pretty terrible shape to consider giving a guy who has a been a QB coach at syracuse. Hmm pretty sure syracuse sucks. A guy who was rices OC. Hmm pretty sure Rice sucks.
