you don't think they can pull out the tape of the Tech game? Let me rephrase, you can count on it that any coach serious about this job will watch several of the tapes of games this season to get an idea of what he would be working with before he commits.

I would think the focus of his recruiting would be a couple of things:
Emphasis on the OL/DL
Physical WR who get off press coverage
Stonger cover corners

Where is Derrius Bell? And did Bailey play tonight? Heard he was hurt.

no, I'm sure they will. But I just think Gary Barnett was watching the game and saw a lot of positive things.

and one of the first goals of the new coach will be to be competitive in Conf USA. We had 4 turnovers and lost by 10 to the best team in the conference and defending camp.

We collected 5 against the team UH is playing next week for the potential championship and lost.

You see, we just invent different ways to lose.

true dat. I just think a week after firing our coach, we did not embarass ourselves on national tv. this season, I take that as a victory and a nice showcase of how we are not far off from being a contender in conf USA

ANY, I repeat ANY coach, that watches the play calling of the OC knows there were several games that were winnable.

On the 1 fu#k'n yd line @ tulsa & we're still in the spread offense?

The OC play calling is so bad if he was at S'Lake HS they'd be outta the playoffs already

SMU was very solidly coached against the run. They essentially made one big mistake and Aldridge made us pay. very nice defensive Coaching against the run. Solid performance.

We don't run the right offense to use them right now.. I thought Alderick Robinson showed up today too.

DEFENSIVE Coaching has been much better in the last two games, despite the points scored. Still think the OFFENSE needs to run the ball more to shorten the game for the defense.
are prob watching this game on ESPN and seeing that we have some talent...can only make the job more interesting.
..................I agree in that our kids showed great effort and some real talent tonight. So a potential Coaching candidate would have to be somewhat encouraged. Also they could see alot of the Coaching problems, like the way Willis continues to carry the ball like a loaf of bread.

might be a good idea to run the type of offense that uses your most talented players!
