Tough, tough player. Was recruited by the former staff. Thought the SMU-Kimball connection might help... he was friends with Sasser and some others, but he went to TT and has essentially been wasted because he really is a fine ball carrier.

Can anyone confirm this?
I don't get it. Is he really thinking he'll get carries over Keylon Kincade AND Johnnie Fitzgerald AND Richuel Massey? Surely the coaches aren't going to make one of those guys switch positions, and it would be way too late to ask Munlin to change positions.

obviously he would play FB. I heard reports he's been seen working out on the Hilltop and he's a load. 5-10,219 is the size of our starter at FB right now-plus Munlin is an outstanding receiver out of the backfield-he caught a bunch for Tech last year and average almost 5 yards a carry in a tough league. To be precise he was 54 carries for 254 yards 4.7 average PLUS 25 catches for 206 yards out of the backfield as a backup. SMU has very few FBs on its roster and he could step in quickly in 2004 although I do think he has only one year of eligibility.

Excellent assessment. Would like to see him in a navy (blue) helmet in 2004.

Did Tech release him so he can play this year? Why would they give him his release to play for a team on their schedule? You'd think Mike Leach would make him sit out a year.
