Kragthorpe? great, he fits right in with the current SMU program. Let's go hire a coach who took a top 10 team and took them to 5-5. what a plan.

Quite the contrary, this would be a great move. Coach K would fit perfectly at SMU, here is why:
* "pedigree"
* builds relationships with players
* "players' coach"
* proven winner at Tulsa, developed program, can do same at SMU
* faith and beliefs would fit in with SMU
I think he is the best coach on the market, would build SMU to a power in CUSA and he would stay for a long time.

stay a long time like he did at Tulsa? got it. This is getting legs, must be true. wish it went different. Turner Gill. Major Applewhite. Somebody more high profile was for the taking.
