It's simple as this:
If you're for Krapthorpe then you are against Barnett (Barnett said he wants the job)
And if that is the case then I think you seriously lack knowlege on what it takes to win at SMU.

This message board in 3 years:
"Bennett set us back 7 years, we have to wait until Kragthorpe gets his players in here before we can get to the New Orleans Bowl"
I want to throwup

SMU Football Blog wrote:WhitneyHouston wrote:SMU Blog,
I guess [deleted] Vermeil being out of Football for 12 years really effected his performance. Or, Bill Parcells being away from the game for 6 years. Please tell me though, since I am so uninformed, why Krag is such a great great choice. I'm listening.....
I simply am not dismissive of anybody (except Greg Davis). I am not a big fan of the people that seem obsessed with their guy at the exclusion of all others. I think that is a big mistake because you may be very disappointed. I have defended Kragthorpe enough. I have defended Bowden enough. I have discussed Barnett enough.
Any coach SMU hires is going to have some baggage.
"Life's too short babe, time is flying, i'm looking for baggage that goes with mine."
Yeah, I just quoted the musical "Rent." You have a problem with that?

As yourself this question, who had the most to gain with Bennett's removal?
It's bigger than anything you can imagine-

Bigger then the Death Star?
