I think I just saw on ESPN that Darnel, their assistant will be the interim head coach for their "bowl" game.

Speaking of Turner Gill-he won his 5th game-attendance where ever it was was announced as 2,000 and change. Todd Dodge won his second with one to play.

The game was at Kent State and drew 2,867.

Kent State finished at 8,999 a game this season. Forty I-AA schools draw more than that.

Any thoughts on the possibility of Gill to Nebraska? Has he ever mentioned the SMU job? I've been slacking in keeping up with the job search. Still routing for Gill to be the guy.

Too bad Gill didn't beat Baylor at home this year. Boy, that was Kent's announced attendance and likely includes season tickets purchased. Kent will be out of the MAC during the next shakeup.

Glen Mason would be a nice hire.

Well, it would spice up the TCU rivalry a bit. I think he would be a good hire for you guys.

Guys, let's remember who we are. A former successful head coach at several DI-A schools, and a not great, but not horrible head coach at a BCS A&M is a HUGE upgrade of the old "let's get an up and coming coordinator" Copeland mentality. We would be fortunate to get someone like Fran.
