Hmm... I'm not sure. It's not like Tulsa or any of the other WAC teams could afford it either. It's all the same **** anyway

They probably went with the lowest qualified bidder...they usually purchase something like this with a bidding process.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
