Nacho, Peggy Sue's has the best BBQ sandwich on the planet. Next time I visit Dallas, I think I'm just going to stay there. Or if they kick me out, I'm going to sleep in my car across the street at the bank and wait for them to re-open every day.

You need to try Holy Smokes...very comparable and not the hellish parking of Peggy Sues.

Solly's BBQ in Addison after starting as Salih's in Preston Center a LONG time ago. And Dickey's for a last bite of Texas BBQ if you fly out of Dallas on Delta.

Holy Smokes is on Hillcrest Avenue, just north of Northwest Highway (Loop 12) intersection. Across the street from Temple Emanuel. Another restaurant is next door, called Sliders & Blues.

Man, I am apparently in the absolute minority because everything I've seen or heard on Peggy Sues is nothing short of worshipful. But I friggin' hate the place. Great location, excellent concept, like the dingy digs but the food absolutely stinks! Holy Smokes gets my first vote. Gotta try a rack of ribs if you haven't already.
