The biggest question for next year isn't going to be what he'll do with the offense. Disaster relief is needed on the other side of the ball.

Johnson and SMU have agred on a deal and it will be announced next week due to the Army Navy game. This was Turner's choice, not Orsini's, but he's agreed to it. I've heard this from a former college coach who has some ties up North.
Soooooooo, I guess it's go Navy.

Johnson is not coaching here.

Johnson wants to coach for a BCS school. If Johnson leaves Navy, which is a big maybe (Navy alum are not letting him go that easily), GT and Duke would be 1st and 2nd choice for him.

I find it real tough to believe that PJ comes to SMU. I guess anything is possible. But I sure as hell dont see Duke a clear #2 over SMU.

I dont think Orsini would have waited so long unless he thought he had a real shot with PJ. Not to mention, Orsini knows PJ.

Whats all this Turner Hate? He has brought SMU up about 20 spots in the rankings, increased the quality of our faculty, students, endowment and facilities.

I am not really doubting it, but are these the same alumni who outbid everybody for Ted Roof last time around?
