What would you think of LC if he looked more like Gary Barnett than Shrek? Seriously. I'm halfway willing to forgive Shula's history at Alabama because it was his first HC job (there were some extenuating factors that made his tenure there tough but they don't bolster my argument here). Miami was LC's first head coaching gig. He's probably learned a lot and he's actually 2 years younger the Gary Barnett.
All that being said, I hope Coker's being considered for the OC position or that we're just using him as a smokescreen. He doesn't seem energetic but we could do a LOT worse...hard to see Coker being a good recruiter.

a career assistant who happened to be in the right place at the right time. Thats what Coker is. Not a program leader or builder. Even if he was a good bus driver, we don't need a bus driver. We need a guy who can go out and sell people on the benefits of taking a long bus ride rather than flying. Coker ain't that guy. No way, no how.
