Willis will do fine with this offense - if his arm doesn't get thrown out.

Not sure Willis' arm would be a problem. They use a lot of short passes as well and expect the WRs to break tackles/run away from defenders.

No one questioned his arm two years ago when he was setting records!

JWill has been working out at receiver during this offseason, so Sanders could possibly make the move to corner. That strengthens our defense, with Hud and Dennis at the safeties and Sanders and McCann at the corners. This would allow more flexibility with the weak linebacker group we have. Possible moving KJ Ellis, Tyler Jones and Yori Yenga to linebacker. With Yenga starting in the middle. The D could be better than ever? The fron four returns with Smart, Johnson, Elizee and Parham.

"JWill has been working out at receiver during this offseason"

Awful lot of position changes for a team without coaches.
Come on, bigdaddy - don't get baited in by the Clown.

Yeah, let's take the best QB we've had at SMU in at least 10 years and convert him to wideout, so that we can take our record setting wideout and put him at corner. That has to be about the most idiotic suggestion I have ever heard of.

really, are you serious? you're either incredible high or stupid? I may bash on JWs qb playing but I think what JJ is going to have to do is incorporate a more of a WVU style spread and use JWs running skills. best hybrid spread offense that can work for smu with the talent we have now. but if JJ wants to do it the right way he's going to have to wish for a JUCO qb signing or a top HS signee, if he can't I see him making JW a better qb that won't turnover the ball multiple times a game. Timmy Chang wasn't a big qb at UH and CB broke all of his UH and NCAA records.

willis remains qb for the start of next year

Aw hell, just having some fun with Clown. I just like to read all the responses. I love this board. You people are crazy.

One question. Don't you think our linebackers are suppose to be bigger than our DB's?

One point. Sanders was one of the best, if not the best corner coming out of HS in Texas, if not the nation.

Hopefully our experiment with "small ball" in the LB area ended last year.
