Now JT. There have been times I have backed you up. Not many, granted. But a few.

And I appreciate every one of them. It's hard living alone on an island sometimes. Just ask our new coach.

If I remember correctly, wasn't stallion pro JJ assuming they made some model changes?
Stallion said Jones would not come UNLESS the "Stallion Model" was adequately addressed.
..............That's right, but Stallion also said he thought JJ was an Excellent Coach.

That has been my read on it since Jones came into the conversation. My wife disagrees, and believes that Jones just cashed in for an early retirement. But if the Hawaii offers were as good as the last reports, then I think our point is carried and she's WRONG WRONG WRONG.

PS: please don't ever ever ever mention this to my wife.

Stallion will show up and will have many questions and probably some negative tones. I believe he will stay that way until AFTER some results have been seen. When that happens, he will come back from the dark side.

I'm sure Jucos and transfer hours will be a theme of his. And I agree. Hope they were addressed.

He said that, after it was known we were in serious talks.

One thing about Stallion you guys need to remember. I have not seen him miss a home game and he makes alot of away games also. When he is at the games, he's yelling like hell for the Mustangs.

Not sure about when he said it, I couldn't find the post, I just know the gist was if he comes here it means the "model" has been fixed.

He's here. That means the model must be fixed. Reason to celebrate!

He maybe dour man on this board, but every time I see him on game day he is pumped like hell, no matter how badly the cards are stacked against us. One of my favorite quotes, I caught up with him playing catch with his son on the 'Vard - I can't remember the vaunted opponent but we lost badly - I asked, "So you think we have a chance today?"

"Wouldn't be here if I didn't."

... after that I finally understood Stallion. Or at least had something to fall back on. Because, before then, I always thought... damn if your so negative, why are you even here?

Most of us turn to this board to express our blind optimism, I think Stal uses this board to vent his frustration so all is positive on gameday.... but that's just my opinion.

Welcome to 2008, Stallion.

If you're really one of us, you'll love it.
