Craft is from San Diego. UCLA offered him. He took that offer. Norm Chow is the OC at UCLA and UCLA played a walk-on in their bowl game....kinda a now brainer

The only reason that a walk-on started for UCLA during the bowl game was because their top 2 QBs were hurt. And those QBs each will be back and recovered from their injuries, so there will be a huge competition at UCLA!

here is a perfect example of why google searches do not equal facts.

Ben Olsen and Pat Cowen were 1 and 2 on UCLAs depth chart. In the last two years, neither of them have started for 3 consecutive games due to injuries. They are china dolls. Their number 3 was Bethal-Thompson, a walk-on. They had to put Bethal-Thompson in the Notre Dame guy cause Cowan and Olsen were hurt, Bethal-Thompson played quite possibly the worst game a QB has played in the history of college football. After that game, they move Ossar Raashanfrom WR to QB. Rashan started their bowl game but did not complete a pass in the first half so they pulled him and put in Bethal-Thompson. Also, Olsen and Cowan are seniors. To say that the depth chart at UCLA at QB is wide open is an understatement

I could have sworn I heard McLeod Bethel-Thompson was transferring out of UCLA. I could be wrong though.

Correct, he transferred to Sacramento State, a FCS school in the Big Sky Conference.

Isn't Ben Olsen the kid who started off at BYU? ONe of the top recruits, but went on his mormon mission and then transferred?

Olsen is the kid who had an awesome year two years ago. He probably would of been taken in the draft if he left, but now, probably not...
