You think HGH grows well near the Jones family plantation in Hawaii?

This is an absolutely STUPID thread. ITS HIS JOB. He goes to spring practices at schools all across the Nation as part of his duties for ESPN. I've specifically read and heard that he takes tours of major programs across the country in preparation for the upcoming season. He doesn't attend SMU Football Games because he is WORKING-got it ACE? Nice shot at an SMU Legend though.

Craig will eventually return as well as other players and alumns that felt betrayed and embarrassed by our adminstration (past) and our pathetic athletic programs.
Many alumns still feel alienated and unwelcome. But, this is finally changing, one alumn at a time thanks to Steve and his coaches.

Embarrassed maybe, but alienated? Unwelcome? I know that CJ and ED were both invited to campus a number of times by the previous AD and his staff, usually choosing to show up only when an appearance fee was included. I don't see Lance McIlhenney complaining about not being "invited" or being "unwelcome," since he tailgates on the Boulevard before every game and buys his season tickets like the rest of us who didn't receive a full ride to SMU and a platform to show off for the NFL scouts.
I understand that James has other responsibilities on game day, and don't expect either of them to be at every game, but James (and Dickerson, when he had the opportunity) took it upon himself to take gratuitous pot shots at his alma mater in front of a national audience. Nothing like kicking someone when they're down.

Absolutely true. It's about as bad as when Ted Kennedy was on the panel interviewing potential Supreme Court Justices when they were talking about personal conduct, morals, and ethics. Kind of a catch 22.
And why in God's name is Congress wasting their time on major league baseball? Yep, we got nothing else to worry about in the old US of A so we can talk time to hob nob with a fallen legend of baseball.

Not that his lack of interest in his alma mater is anything new. Just thought I'd mention his efforts to assist a team that he played against his entire collegiate career.
I don't think he lacks too much interest in his alma mater considering that he and Dickerson were heavily involved in getting Jones to consider SMU for his next gig! Some of you have really short memories. Than again that is why Congress always votes themselves a pay raise right after the election.
