Clayton probally the only sculpture major playing basketball. I wonder if he is related tothe korvers playing basketball for Creighton, Drake and Iowa

It was too bad Korver didn't play longer[I think all of one year] because he was fun to watch. Phillips was a great player but he was the biggest "gunner"in the history of SMU basketball. Delzell thrived the year after Phillips left because he got to shoot more finally.

Oh I thought you meant he didn't play longer because he literrally would get 5 fouls for every 15 minutes of play.

I remember one particular game where a fight broke out at the very end.

Clayton Korver must have had extensive boxing training because he went through the opposing team like a hot knife through butter.

He was a machine.

nothing would bring the crowd back in the game like Korver coming off the bench and pulling his jersey out. you knew someone was about to get fouled, hard.

his box score line would read 2 pts. 3 rebs. and 5 fouls, but he was a fan favorite
