Just curious, thought you would know based on the info. in your posts.

When I renewed in February, I got my new bar to fit into my placque in mid-March. It was red. If you haven't received yours, then call the Mustang club and see what they can to help. Hayley, Linda or Debra are very responsive.

I have gotten a new bar the past 3 years. Just very sad that I never got a plaque on which to put the bar so they just sit in my drawer.

One of the biggest ways to help the program is to attend games and bring others with you to games. We need to fill the stadium on game day.

I have had football season tickets since 1991 and attend the games, even many road games. I will be at opener at Rice for sure, and then following week at Ford. If rest of my family doesn't come, I usually bring friends to try and use all of my 4 tickets.

You are right on need for attendance, but that is not a problem with me (or for that matter I would guess most who take time to post on this board).

2000 in the Mustang Club? That is outrageously disappointing.

Remember that our "revenue sports" have been nothing short of a complete joke for 2 plus decades now. I hope Mustang Club membership increases each and every year but it will take time.

You get a plaque at the Pony level and a renewal bar for each year at that level or above

someone "in the know" could probably confirm, but the highest membership count I can ever remember was just over 3,000. I remember thinking at the time we were still not attracting 5% of our living alumni and to me that has always been a "sad" statistic - but I have no idea how other schools compare.

I know that Clemson's booster club (IPTAY which originally stood for "I pay ten a year") had 22,000 members who contributed $14 mil in 2006. That is for a school that is just over twice the size of SMU.

Our "revenue" sports may not have been there, but, for the love of God, show some support!!

Also, I want to make sure we have a conspicuous was of visually identifying the Pony Faithful in 5 years when we are top 25 most awesome teams ever and the m/c has 100,000 members.
