I really feel bad getting technical on you, but you are wrong. Inside it is sucking in air and then blowing it out through an expansion coil which cools the air in the process. Outside, it sucks in air and blows it across a condenser coil thus releasing the heat from the freon that collected the heat on the inside. Now then, if it was an evaporative cooler where you suck outside air in through a wet mesh and blows the cooler muggy air into the room, you would be correct.mrydel wrote:Depends on whether you are inside or out.
