Just watch the Georgia tape: it's easy to defend once you study it for an offseason.

WAC teams had quite a few offseasons to study it...Hawaii went undefeated in the regular season last year.

I guess we might as well just save ourselves a lot of trouble and fire JJ right now.

Georgia will be pre season ranked in the top two for next year. They are awesome. That is why Hawaii lost - Georgia has vastly superior personnel.

CUSA will not have vastly superior talent relative to SMU within two yrs - therefore we will be fine.

It's equally obvious that the purple paranoia is in full swing -- and it's only May.

tense maybe. But at least we know that our head coach won't be throwing any coordinators under the bus when asked a question about an offensive play call.

Now, for a little mental visual. Imagine yourself an impressionable 18 year old with high expectations.

Now consider who you're going to see as your mentor, your advisor, a person to look up to who will help you develop your game over the next four years.

Now look to the left and see option A. June Jones. Now look to the right and see option B....Gary...er...Patterson.

-proof is in the puddin'. So far TCU recruiting class has been the best start ever-perhaps ever for a non-BCS team. Time to answer the bell.

Sorry Pally, Frogies using bad logic and poor argument are far too common to be chuckle-worthy.

The success TCU has enjoyed the last several years will be nothing compared to what is about to happen at SMU. I've been saying this since I got to SMU in 2002 that SMU is the biggest sleeping giant program in America and once we finally get things headed in the right direction, the sky is the limit. SMU is a better school than TCU. SMU has better facilities than TCU. SMU is in a better city than TCU. SMU has a better coach than TCU. The frogs had their run, now its our turn.

"When he decided to look around for a job, the two open positions that most intrigued him had defined bad football for a generation."

I heard a rumor that Jones actually contacted Orsini first. This quote from the article makes me think this rumor is true.

I thought the story was ED brought it up to Jones, who said he'd be interested but keep it quiet til after the Sugar Bowl, then ED told Orsini, then search firm contacted Steinberg (but that part could've been vice-versa after the ED conversation)

I don't claim to be in the know whatsoever but in the press conference introducing June, Orsini said that the search firm he hired brought up the name of June Jones early in the process. Of course this could have been after the conversation with Dickerson, but that's the info from the presser.

Is it your position then, that the WAC was unable to decipher this mysterious defense over the past nine years?

Don't even bother. When we get the R&S down, the TCU fixture will be a W every year.
