I was just stating a sad fact in response to the other post...nothing more.

I wonder how much longer the DMN can last. I feel like one their few remaning subscribers. I know I'm old school but I like reading a real paper newspaper. The newspapers did this to themselves by offering their content free on the internet.

According the the prevailing wisdom on this site, they sealed their fate by failing to provide front page SMU sports coverage every single day, thus causing every reader in the metroplex to cancel.

BTW, I still read it every day in paper form.

I know you do not like reading labout the Mustangs in the paper, but

most of us loyal fans still like to see our team get coverage

even though "we dont deserve it".

I just don't see how this can be true. NOBODY would pay for a subscription to a newspaper online. There is very little that appears in the DMN that doesn't appear in on a free, online-only news source.

Look, I'm not going to draw a picture for you. You either got the humor or you didn't, and clearly you didn't.

And I like to read every article about SMU, in paper form, unlike you and your non-subscribing buddies.

Great, now you two ladies have something to read over morning tea.

Only if it is of the "long island iced" variety and Bighorse is buying.

BTW, my people say while Bobbi is a solid reporter and asks the expected question, they cautioned me to not expect the story that goes in a much different direction.

They don't think she stinks, they just look at her as your standard reporter.

In terms of coverage, I think you can expect it to go down for UT and A&M with the personnel issues the DMN is facing.
