2013: We just need to play UT in a bowl for our chance to be "State Champs" or "2013 SWC Champs". Hahaha, how sweet would that banner look in Ford.

I think we need to get out of the Bottom 10, before anyone mentions Top-25, but that being said we have home games next year with SFA, Navy, Rice, Tulane, and UTEP. That should be an opportunity to get back to .500 or better.

Out of the bottom 10...and a win over ECU, clearly the dominant team in CUSA (east & west). They have beaten two ranked teams in two weeks. We've got a win vs. Div1-AA and a loss vs. conference-co-bottomdweller Rice.

Big, big difference.

Yes, I'd like wins over A&M & Texas. But I'd like a bowl game more.

2010 will be an interesting season

Win two or three of the nc games and win the division then a nice little bowl game could come out of it ....Cotton

Hasn't A$M scheduled a lenghthy series with Arkansas at JerryWorld in Arlington? If they end up keeing their games with us in Dallas, will be be forced to move the game out of ford and either to the Cotton Bowl or to Arlington?

I really like the 2013 schedule, only issue I see is June's contract is up in 2012. Lets hope he turns the ship around and the boys Pony Up to keep him through 2013........

I think I read the Cotton Bowl tie is with the big12 and a selected team.

If SMU should have a winning season and had beaten two bcs schools why not SMU it would have local content selling power.

2013 - 3 Big 12 opponents...years there after a slow weaning off of Big 12 opponents.

IF (if...IF) SMU can build the program by 2013, is this an attempt to tempt Big 12 towards expansion? At a minimum, the increase in strength of schedule is welcome, and if we win (some of) these games it helps a lot with recruiting.

Always a fan of ramping up the challenge. You're either getting stronger or you're getting weaker.
