I'm sure no one will be watching those guys!

Yeah, really. I wonder how they even got their game televised. What have they ever done in football that's so great?

Just bumping this thread for interested parties.
Again. Uncle Billy's on Barton Springs. Game time 7:00. I'll be there 'round 6:30 to secure a spot. Not that there will be any trouble.

If any new parties are interested, let me know, so I can make sure to grab enough table space.

Thad, you need to be the Austin Chapter of Mustang Club Party Planner.
The ACMCPP
That is your new Mustang Militia rank.

You know, I can't even think of a single New Kids song.... the only things that come to my head are a Boys2Men song, a Marky Mark tune, and another by NSYNC.
I do recall the title Summertime but have no recollection how it goes.

Cool, that will go right along with my other ranks, such as being the designated T.H.A.D. and P.I.M.P. (I don't know what you heard about me...)
Thanks for the promotion.

I'm making a trip from Big D to be with my fellow Austin PF'ers! Thanks, again, for putting this together! Maybe this change in my usual routine will be the break we need to start winning. Not that it's all about me, by the way.

Does this place serve shots? The waiter at the restaurant asked me tonight if I wanted a shot of tequila to go with my beer. I asked him if that was really necessary. His response was that "everything goes better with a shot of tequila." So maybe the game will go better with a shot of tequila.
How about one shot for every touchdown we score? Question: Would we go home sober or blasted?

add in "a shot for every turnover we commit or get" and there is no doubt in my mind that you'll come home blasted

It is all about you, but that's okay.

I kid. I kid. You from here originally? I'm from Big D originally. Lived there all my life (save for the years in Europe.... so I guess, I should say, all my American life) until I moved here.
I love Dallas. I do. But I am sure, as most of you "originally not from Dallas" folks can attest, eventually you have to get away from where you grew up, from your family, from all that you knew, etc. I know I will move farther way still, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that I will find myself back in, what I call, the heart of Texas. Dallas.
(I should note that your post goes either way... you could be originally from here, or simply stating that you wanted to join us in revelry.... whichever is cool.)

If you're buying, then I am in. But, yes, they have shots. Hopefully my boy [unnamed] is behind bar, if so..... watch out, we'll be in for a big night. I don't want to promise anything, but he treats me - and my friends - very well. I deleted his name, but he has on many occasions made a bill of mine that should have read upwards of $40 read, oh, around $8.
Oh and the sober or blasted question... I'm good either way. I live walking distance from the place. And while that's
a reason I suggested it, it's not the main reason. There was a time where I lived nowhere close, but even then they hooked myself/my friends/whatever group I was with up well with not just booze, but also the food ... we always had a great time.
I met [unnamed bartender] back then. Let's hope he's serving us.
