I heard that coaches just wanted to give banjo more PT, Jones made plays, lots of tackles, but coaches wanted a more physical player at that position....maybe put Jones at running back.

Jones aint going to be on the field at RB - that is just not happening.

Banjo gives us more size and speed.

If you are going to have "3 Star" recruits that is the one position to have them at!

I expect you're right. In the games I've seen (Texas State and the CSTV games), Jones has been around the ball. We could do a lot worse than having Tyler Jones on the field. Is Banjo faster? Yeah, I guess so. But Jones is a good player. I'll take him on my team any day.

Fact is, with the score UCF 24 SMU 17 in the 4th, with about 5 minutes to go, wasn't Banjo the safety that blew the courage and left a UCF receiver wide open in the end zone ? Game over.....Sorry if I'm not correct.

I have that moment saved in my phone for posterity, and can verify that it was Devon Bailey. This was confirmed by no less an authority than ThadFilms. The exchange by text message went something like this:

Me: WTF?
Me: who is 2 that just got burned?
TF: According the roster, Devon Bailey
Me: That sucks.
TF: Suck.

And some have wondered why Bailey hasn't played more this year-there you have it.

thats all im saying, he's a tackle machine, and yes banjo might be a little faster, but not by a lot. jones has been beat in coverage a few times but most of them where by crabtree and the tech recievers.

With 3 to 4 big DT's and moving the smaller DT's to End and Yenga to LB we could have a good D. Then Banjo could really play.

Ba da bing da bing da bing da do.

Banjo is faster, taller and more athletic. It is not really a tough decision.
