4-8 if we manage to finish some games this year and find ways to win instead of lose. 6-6 if things go perfect.

I can see 8-4 happening. But it'll probably be like 5-7 or something. Still, as long as we improve on our back to back 1-11 records, we should be ok. 2010 is when we'll really see if JJ can take this team far.

In 2010 we contend for the CUSA title.

5 wins, 7 losses with possibilities of moving up or down by 1 game........

My issue with this schedule is which game to pick for my annual Big D trip. That 9/26 date with Tulane looks tempting. Best chance for good weather and a win? I assume 11/7 with Rice will be Homecoming and this is my 35th reunion year...but could be cold/rain...don't want a repeat of last year's Annapolis trip. UAB looks like a possible road trip. Decisions, decisions...

I predict that Navy will attempt a pass against us this year. ( I reserve the right to amend this prediction based on game time weather.)

We have not had bad weather for a home game since Nevada in 2004, other than some hot ones. We are due for some bad ones.

I am just going to shut up and let the season play out this year. I can make a case on some of those games, but we were 0-11 against IA teams last year. We will be better , but how much better and how early in the season are questions we just won't have the answers to until the season progresses. Hate playing Houston,Tulsa and Rice in that order in a row again.

Speaking of hot...I attended home openers for years but the Ford opener against Kansas caused me to look at late Sept/early Oct

I have no expectations of wins next season, but I will be pleasantly surprised if they occur and i certainly hope they do.

What a coward. I'm glad people like you don't make any decisions that amount to more than a dead cows fart.

I'll offer mine in the summer when the season is closer and the starters have been established, especially at RB and the defensive front.

Too much time between now and September for things to happen.

Who is playing?

Do we have a semblance of a "D"? "O" line? etc etc.

Way too premature for predictions IMHO!

Trust me, you are worried about our defense.
