Truth. And the Simpsons Movie wasnt nearly as bad as the show has been lately. I saw the movie on principal b/c I owed it to them for all the free hours of entertainment they provided whilst I was growing up, and I think its worth buying on DVD (I haven't, but it would be worth it).

South Park is original and funny (although sometimes they are obviously just trying to see what they can get away with).

Family Guy is unoriginal, and not particularly well written (99% of the jokes have nothing to do with advancing the plot), but so help me, it makes me laugh...alot.

I agree. I think it had it's moments early on but it just doesn't interest me anymore. I wasn't into South Park but I've really started to dig it. My 2 favorite episodes are "Casa Bonita" and "Jennifer Lopez." Just genius!

Mr. Poo annoys me but I liked the one where the earth was a reality show and the taco pooped ice cream

Its not exactly network TV per se, but the Lonely Island has done alot of funny work for SNL. They are responsible for most of the SNL Digital Shorts.
For a long time I just thought Andy Samberg was really prolific, but then I found out he is just kind of the face of Lonely Island.

they did:

[deleted] in a Box (feat Justin Timberlake)
Im on a Boat (feat T-Pain)...personal favorite
Lazy Sunday
Laser Cats! (its a series, so no link, you can find them on nbc.com)
[deleted] in my Pants
The Space Olympics
Ras-Trent

people either really seem to like their stuff or absolutely hate it. Most of the language is prolly NSFW, just a heads up.

South Park has evolved into one of the best written shows on TV. They make some surprisingly good social commentary. I love the 'dog whisperer' episode which highlights how single moms are raising their kids trying to be their friend instead of their parent, and they are coming out spoiled and annoying because of it.

Family guy is dumb. As they say in South Park Cartoon Wars the jokes have nothing to do with the story line.

My two favorite South Park episodes are the Scientology episode where Tom Cruise locks himself in a closet and everyone keeps walking by begging him to come out of the closet, and the PETA episode where all the PETA people are showing "love" for animals and the school has to pick a new mascot and their choices are really well thought out. Family Guy is written by a bunch of manatees.

Woo-hoo! The Simpsons to appear on postage stamps

WASHINGTON â€" Don't have a cow, man! The Simpsons will appear on postage stamps. America's most enduring â€" or is that endearing? â€" dysfunctional family will be honored on their own stamps, the Postal Service announced.

It's been 20 years since Homer, Marge and family invaded the airwaves on Fox television, and the Postal Service says it plans five stamps featuring the couple and their offspring, Bart, Lisa and Maggie.

No word on their dog, Santa's Little Helper. And it seems that even â€" or is that evil? â€" Mr. Burns was not able to pull enough strings to get his own stamp.

Artwork for the 44-cent stamps was done by Simpsons creator Matt Groening and will be available for preview April 9 at http://www.usps.com. At that time the post office plans to announce the date the stamps will go on sale.
