Margus Hunt looked OK â€" lost, as should be expected, but he looked like he's starting to grasp a few of the basics â€" he'll be fun to watch as he develops. I'd love to see him flip to the right side, so he and Taylor Thompson could be huge bookend DEs, and where he could use his discus-throwing right hand to shove tackles to the side as he comes around the corner.

Discuss is really more core/torso strength than anything. I don't know if he would be any strong on the other side of the ball.

Exactly the reason why I don't get too worked up -- good or bad -- over these things.

Rarely is the coach going to show everything in his bag. The players already committed to 100 percent speed in the other practices. These events are just for show with some emphasis on refinement, IMO.

They opened up the 3-4 today. Times where BLM or the other QBs looked to throw deep, they were sacked. JJ was trying to force them to make quick reads and not providing blocking help for the blitzes.

Al Robinson dropped a 60 yard bomb on the first play of the scrimmage, beautiful throw from BLM.

That's about as crazy as saying SMU will win 8 games this year.
