Apparently, he didn't catch the part in the article where it said...
Fall, a 7-1 center from Senegal who is a nephew of Mavericks director of scouting Gallo Fall, was recruited by Jimmy Tubbs, then played the final three years at SMU for Matt Doherty.

Per Coach Doherty's Twitter message, Bamba had another workout with the Mavs, and is heading to Portland to work out with the Blazers.

Borderline, but I'll say no. However, there are a lot of coaches out there who are enamored with seven-footers who can run, and who have the timing and defensive awareness to block shots. If nothing else, Bamba has those qualities. He's exceedingly raw offensively, of course, so it would have to be on a team like Cleveland, that parks Zydrunas Ilgauskas at the 3-point line to let LeBron James shoot every time down the floor. I'd love to see Bamba get drafted, but don't think he will. However, I expect he will get a free agent tryout someplace.
