Speaking of half Pony Ears, back when Don Meredith was on MNF, there was a game which was a total blow out and the stands were pretty empty and the camera focused on a guy who appeared to be asleep. He looked up and gave the half Pony ears at which point Dandy Don quickly quipped, "ABC's number 1 right Howard?"
