Good idea about reading at the games. Only, the last game we were able to attend was Navy. Got there too late to see the grass fire and left before the final whistle. Still, would have needed a wheelbarrow load to keep me occupied.
And if SMU is not interested in the Harrell kid from Ennis as a QB, I sure hope they get the one they want. I saw Harrell in Texas Stadium against HP when he was a soph and thought he was terrific.

What position does Woodson play? Unless I'm blind, he's not on the DMN top 100 list.
The kid I want out of Ennis is Daniels (who the DMN says is considering Kansas State, A&M, TCU, Texas Tech and Wisconsin). 6'6" and 323. Hard to teach that. Offensive line, defensive line - who cares? That's some crazy size, and you have to think there's some potential there. I've read some reports that call him "unblockable."

"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."

Re: It's time
I actually did see the book idea at the game last Saturday. No joke!
I think I'll bring my copy of A Payroll to Meet to the next game. Haven't read that one in awhile.
Ron Meyer was a great coach. See passing offense, Mike Ford, Emanuel Tolbert, etc. when we needed it. Then he converted to the option attack when we had the OL, and running backs to play smash mouth. Great talker, and motivator.
Too bad he was a cheatah.

May the forth be with us.
