Yes, Nacogdoches is a very repectable town. Lived there for 35 years. Has alot of old money in the town too. Very nice campus which is now expanding like crazy. I couldn't have picked a better place to raise my 3 children.

Having grown up in rural East Texas I can assure you that "The Nac" sucks. Po-dunk town full of rednecks and meth labs with a college anyone who has a high school diploma could get into. That about sums it up.

This sums it up. I had a friend who moved to Longview and went to visit him. The highschool was playing the "Nac" and everyone referred to them as Nastyroaches.....really bad when you get served by Longview!

You are quite the cinderella story for getting out of East Texas. Do you send money home to your mother in the Kilgore trailor park?

Am I seriously getting lectured by the guy who posted a baseball card of Rusty Kuntz? What's next on your joke list? I bet it's along the lines of bringing a whoopie cushion to the vard.

Um, you're mistaken precious. Just for grins, if you landed at SFA, does that mean you didn't get into UT-Tyler or UL-Monroe?

I think the point of the childish post is that it is childish and funny. And you have to admit - the fact that the 10th best restaurant in Naca ACTUALLY IS A WHATABURGER is pretty funny.

And i loves me some whataburger.

There are many actual restaurants not listed on the poll. I could easily list 5 more that I would have. But Whataburger is off the chain.
