You do realize that Charter Cable in Fort Worth still has Versus don't you? Also, Danny was a great AD the four years he was here, but I have yet to see him coach one down. I would always want to have the AD or coach everybody wants as opposed to the ones that no one wants to hire.

Yes, but most sports bars have DirecTV.
Your AD was one that any school wanting to improve would have loved to hire.

Usually when an AD leaves abruptly like this it means something is about to go public that the NCAA would not approve of. He is probably leaving so he doesn't have to deal with the press and NCAA when all those NCAA violations and investigations leak out. Remember the AD before Bob Hitch left right before or after Ron Meyer left for the NFL?

This looks more like a step up than a sideways step away. If he had taken the AD job at Utah, then you'd have to wonder.

Hey Calallenstang, how many of SMU's games are on TV this year? TCU has 11, well, 12 when we play our bowl game (do you remember what that is?), DirecTV or no DirecTV. You're really grasping at straws here.

Or its because he just got hired to be President of an NFL franchise, working for a man who has known him for 40 years. But go ahead an keep hoping for TCU's demise. In the meantime, we'll enjoy being ranked and crushing the little ponies by about 40 or 50 points again.

Wow! I didn't know some of you Horned Frogs were so sensitive. Lighten up. Everything goes through cycles. For thirty years TCU was everyone's homecoming game....it's funny how you have forgotten that. Enjoy the rankings and the glory now because it doesn't last forever. Just ask a Michigan Wolverine fan.

10, and we don't have the "benefit" of a Conference-sponsored channel either. Thanks for your interest in the television broadcasts of SMU football.
And get a sense of humor.
