ALL stripes must go on the helmet and then on the pants, I like the crimson jerseys, but we need to go with solid navy pants, without a stripe, and I don't care what anybody says a thin white stripe around the pony would make it stand out and white IS part of the color scheme, but I definitley like the navy helmet`

The overwhelming support for the old unis really worries me because that shows there is aren't enough young fans on the board. The unis are sharp. Period. ASK ANY NON-SMU FAN.

Hey FloridaMustang, I'm an old f*rt and I think the new unis are great. As much as I like the blue jerseys, I think the red ones are really good looking too. I say wear the red ones for night games where the blue becomes too dark and wear the blue jerseys for day games. Also, we don't need any white line around the mustang.

On the white-line mustang border topic: I believe, from what I read in a feature on the doom-and-gloom board, that they initially tried, or considered, a white border, but it actually looked kind of effed up. It made the helmets look too "busy." I think "busy" is fancy designer term, meaning, "too many damn colors in one place."

And no, I don't watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

i'm with u on this one...i like these new ones a-ok but if ever a change - again, i'd prefer to go back to the doak era.

The Coach Bennett uniforms are "classy" and will eventually be recognized nationwide. Hang in there... it's a comin'!

I like the Unis...But then again, I also liked the NY Jets style Unis...

I know what would settle this debate, for us to win. It's funny how that seems to answer most if not all of our problems. I like the new uniforms, but liked the old ones too. I guess as long as they stay in red and blue, and don't start pulling that crap where they don't use the team colors in an effort to make us more indimidating I will like whatever my mustangs wear.

Whats a comin? I guess he thinks the NY Giants are going to win the Super Bowl in the next couple a years.
