I propose a new plan of action:
June Jones as DC
Phil Bennett as OC
Stallion as HC

this is funny and quite true. I've said it before, maybe Rusty wasn't bad at all. those 2006 and 2007 teams scored points with a young qb. Offense was not our problem, it was D and special teams. And JJ seems to have the D improving.

Coach said today he thought it was the worst game the offensive line has played since he got here. They didn't do the things they were supposed, ie, missed assignments, bad reads, miscommunication between the players.

boy, I feel better now.

So is JJ blaming the Oline and trying to deflect criticism from Bo? Since he doesnt criticize Bo at all, one has to wonder.

I wouldn't go as far as to say he wasn't criticizing Bo; in fact, he did just that. Early in the game, there were several, as coach said, mental mistakes as opposed to physical mistakes. The TCU line got to Bo several times, and rattled him. Once the O line settled down, and a few adjustments were made, they played better. However, Bo didn't.
Bo can't seem to make good reads, which leads to bad decisions. Coach said that he didn't care what he did, just sling it all over the field.

So how did the O-line play? Did Bo have time back there or was he rushed. Did the O-line open up running lanes or get pushed back on their butts. I didn't see the game so I don't know, but maybe the coach is correct...or maybe not. BTW, I have read comments that JJ made in the past criticizing Bo. I had hoped for better from the offense this year and am suprized that they have not progressed more. We still have eight games to go so maybe they can still do better the rest of the way. Hope so anyway.

You are right OTP, they asked us keep everything Coach Jones said at the luncheon confidential because he gives info to us the could be used against them by the opposing team. I will say this, if we can just execute a little better we can have a good season.

comment about the weather is true; like it or not, the R&S is not built for sloppy conditions. No "power" game with this bunch.

i'll be glad to cooperate and delete my post spelling out the lead that C&T gave, but I hardly think ECU is depending on this board for its scouting report.
