PK,

Thanks for the advice. I guess its Lakewood. The last time I was there though a group of old men yelled at me and my friend for standing up. We literally got up to get our keys and were on our way out the door. Seems like an old fogies bar and the service is absolutely dreadful if you're not a regular. Great burgers and great atmosphere though.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Regulars do tend to get preferential treatment at 1st & 10. But, that is usually the rule of thumb at most places. The reason to watch the game here is simple: Mustang owned. Mark and his group have done an excellent job in taking over a long-time Mustang hangout. :)

Is 1st and 10 also showing the SMU vs. UH game with big screen and sound?

Yep... 1st & 10 is now SMU alum owned. They will have it on like we were the only game on TV.

When they bought it, they ditched the tubes and put in LCDs, and the smoking ban did a lot for the place - unless you're into that, then it sucks i guess. Still an older local crowd, but for pony away games, its ideal.

Was this before or after the change in ownership? Some may say I'm an old fogie, but I'll be standing up and yelling if we are doing anything exciting on the field. 8)

Smoking ban is city wide. I'm a smoker and I can live with it...no big deal.

I'll be in California at either the British Banker's Club in Menlo Park, or go to San Francisco to Harry's Bar. Apparently there are supposed to be Alumni Watch Parties at both. My first alumni event...depressing

I am confused. Should I go to 1st and 10 for the Houston game or Fox and Hound?

What will 1st & 10 have on tap?

What are the drink specials during the game?

1st and 10 has Miller Lite, Bud Lite, Bud and some kind of beer that has a smiley sun face on it. They have several bottled imports.

Trinity Hall will show the game in the back provost section of the pub, if they can get 15 or more. They have a good selection of beer and their food is really good.

The beer is called Shock Top. Will a lot of PF's be going to 1st & 10?

Thanks for reminding me. I usually drink Smithwicks or Guinness, so I don't really keep up with other beverages.
