I pay for the rivals site and it is not stealing IP to list a name of a committ...That is absolute garbage....

You are the guy listing details about the player....We could make the case that you are ripping off rivals...

now that you told me what kind of player he is and then the you tube video above linked me to video, I am not sure why I pay for the rivals subscription....

FWIW, I saw him hanging out with TK, Lutz and several players at the volleyball game last Friday night. I'd say he's every bit of 6-9 and solidly put together.

I still wonder if Coach Doh's navigation system in his infiniti SUV actually has Dallas, Duncanville, Plano, etc on it
I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.

we've added some real size so far in this class. Between Smith, Vilde and then Patsevich in '11, things are looking nice

I'm surprised he hit those free-throws with that rabid crowd.

What-the-hell-ever. There are a bunch of folks who have used PonyFans as a free advertising service for those other sites by advertising their stories here. Maybe they feel their investment is worth more if they can drive more traffic there (which is crap since all conversation about it will be here). Seems to me that unless those sites advertise here, the readers are perfectly justified in sharing a name or a high school here - beyond that, they can keep all of their hard-hitting interviews on the other sites ... if we find out Player X is coming to SMU and can search the internet for info, that's up to us. But both of those other sites have made money because PonyFans get on here and talk about their stories. It's a more than fair trade.

That's a farce. The only reason people link through to the other sites stories is b/c they actually have stories about the programs of interest. If people decide they want more/better info about their programs/coaches and players, join up. If not, status quo. Again, these services help the programs and recruiting which is one reason they need our support.

ponyfans is a nice platform, but it's not a premium platform and isn't connected to an actual service. There is no real info here about recruiting and never has been. If you want that, pay the price elsewhere, help the programs in the process, get better info in a more timely fashion. If you are content with ponyfans, like the free platform, no worries, don't go premium. All I'm saying is that we need a first class premium service, and that stealing from them, and placing their info on a free board within 20 minutes of it breaking, is bad bad form. Every other fan base in America w/a premium service seems to grasp this policy. People can be bitter all day long that information costs, but that's the reality of world, and in this case, rivals is a real feather in the cap of SMU. We can't go back to the dark ages, which is pretty much what ponyfans is

If you find a player, not get it from premium info. That is the key. If the name of the commit is part of the premium info that is for the sub readers until release by the publisher that has worked very hard to get that break. But it is people like you that do not see in big picture. Of course if you are a sponsor of this site I could understand the lowdown perceptive. Obviously you are one of the ones that wish the recruiting sites were not here and see no value in how they help the team.

Agreed here and it is really looking up for the Ballers on the mens side.....we seem to really have some momentum with some big guys with muscle and court smarts. It just takes one or two good ballers to get everyones attention on the recruiting trails. Let's just make sure we get their ink on the most important papers.
