at least adidas really sucks

And for those that don't think uniforms, branding, etc aren't a huge recruiting tool, come to 2009

I look forward to the day SMU engages in uniform tactics to recruit against the top schools in the country. It's not the cutting-edge technology, which is pretty cool itself, it's that Nike is sharp enough to launch a new uniform to coincide a BCS push

I saw it at the TCU book store last weekend. I like th pants and helmet alright. but the shirt sucks

If SMU ever moves in this direction from our current uniforms, I will officially choke on my own vomit. Seriously, horny toad print pants? ORANGE STRIPE on the helmet.

People can argue at SMU that we don't use the right shade of blue, etc., but at least we've gone back to a more traditional look that will stay classic, this frog crap is awful

Oh well, even though their team is good, at least they will look really stupid for a while

They are still better than Oregons though

those pants are hideous; fortunately, you won't be able to see the print on tv

Stripes are actually red to represent the blood that shoots from the eyes of a horned frog. Yes ... TCU went and put our colors on their helmet.

I like them. They're better than ours. The only problem with ours is the tiny 'SMU' on the shirt. It should be bigger and it looks like it's printed in Arial font or something.

No doubt if nike did ours the unis would look sick, as long as they retained a slight retro look we have today.

When I saw the first TCU uni picture I really thought it was a photoshopped joke.

I guess we could go with genuine horse hair pants, dyed blue, complete with a tail and flowing mane.

Horse tail and horse mane tackles would have to be outlawed, of course.

I like their new uniforms. Nice how they subtly incorporated black into being a primary color in their deal and how white basically hit the road.

It'll be interesting if we start generating consistent success what kind of new look we will be throwing down. And for the earlier post, I'm not opposed to black.
