Bo is a cool young man and really funny. As a mother I always feel bad for the kids.

Man.. you guys are brutal on this kid. I hope he goes out there and does his job and helps the TEAM win! To win a Championship, we will need every single player to be 100%. Best of luck Ponys!!! We are behind all of you guys!!!

This does add another dimension if things do get real close. Just a thought.

You're exactly right. Even if it's done in jest - and there may be some for whom that's true, but not close to all - the way people have turned on BLM is repulsive. It's just not funny (I know: "get a sense of humor." Got one, thank you. Still not funny.) There are other schools where this kind of backlash is expected, because it smacks of cannibalism. Whether you think the QB switch was necessary or not, we're not in the position we're in without BLM (no way Padron would have been ready to beat SFA or UAB). Stop acting like you eat your young.

What a great story it would be if BLM came in to one of the next 3 or 4 games and was the difference in SMU winning. ALL with the support of the fans.

All in good fun. No one is actually rooting against the kid. I think everyone on this board realizes BLM is a twisted ankle away from being our QB and will cheer for him to be successful should such unfortunate circumstances occur. I personally hope he continues to work hard and improve. No better situation for a team than to have two good QB's on the roster battling it out for the starting job that can step in and not miss a beat when needed.

Good question.

Although I am not a big BLM fan I think he deserves our respect. He trained hard and tried his best- what more can you ask? I am glad that we have him as a backup. I hope that Padron continues to improve and that we don't have the injury bug bite any more of our players. We need all of our players to be in good shape for the rest of the season (and our bowl victory as well ).

Jeez, there is an entire thread dedicated to loving all things "Bo" on the hilltop board. Get over it, I think he has.

For a few days I passed on this thread. It got mean and hurtful. BLM did all he could for this team and SMU.

He got hurt and Padron has done well.

It would be cool to see BLM throw a TD off a Fake Field Goal or Extra Point.

These are really kids.

BLM can be better and life is cruel at time.
