Now go clean up your room [deleted] and stay in there till I tell you to come out. Sounds like your dad? When you can pay your own bills you will have a valid opinion, until them grab that box of Kleenex and keep dreaming adolesnt boy. You know you cant even get a date.

yep. And by the same logic, guess that makes you a resident of the Commonwealth of Virgina.
Tool.
RGV, I feel sorry for Aaronherd. It takes a guy who either has no self esteem and/or who had lousy parents who failed to teach him respect for others, sportsmanship and grace to come on an opposing team's board after a loss and try to taunt them. Seriously. I'm sure he'll have something tawdry to say back to whoever speaks to him, so everyone should bid the guy a goodnight and allow him to return to that extremely destitute hovel he comes from.
mustangbill67 wrote:Good game tonight. I was there. I post gamed with a lot of Marshall fans, good people. FYI, SMU will probably be bowling in Hawaii while Marshall unless it can beat UTEP in El Paso (a tough order) will probably be at home.
May want to research a bit more Mr. Ed....win or lose, as long as Navy beats Army next week we should be at the Eagle Bank Bowl in DC.
Actually, you probably ought to research it more. Marshall is in the same boat SMU is...having to win out to 7-5 in order to distinguish itself above the 6-6 schools out there. Marshall sits if it gets beat. And frankly, unless the Rice loss has killed their spirit, I think UTEP matches up better against Marshall (speed vs. size, and they aren't as banged up as SMU is...AND they play you at home...good luck with that).

I hate to see all this trash talk in the aftermath of what was a very competitive game. I hope we are good hosts next year when Marshall visits Big D to play a much improved SMU team at Ford Stadium. Living over here in So Con country and being familiar with Marshall since their I-AA days, I know the Herd fans travel well and hope they bring several thousand to Dallas next year. I also hope they represent CUSA well ion whatever bowl game they are slotted into.
As this SMU team learns how to win, our fans need to as well.

Herd fans were great! Huntington was wonderfull, but ever once in a while you have to shut a guy up…

well, you do have to admit that wearing a blazer and fedora to a football game is not the norm...especially in Huntington, WV
No, we are in regardless, for the most part. The Eagle Bank Bowl has is going to have two at large openings if Army loses because it is Army against an ACC 7 or 8, neither of which will qualify. They have a semi tie in with CUSA if Army does not make it they can take a CUSA 6th, which means at 6 - 6 we can be chosen over a 7 - 5 MAC team, etc.

Hey Mex they looked cute to me. And for the record i have never had the other teams cheer leaders walk over to the visitors side and welcome the entire group with smiles and photos. 99% of Marshal were fantastic.
Then I stand corrected. But the computer aided broadcast sure painted a different picture, especially about their fans and conduct, and it was a Marshall production--look at Bauer, he doesn't have a feather in his hat!
Don't think crushed. We played a true freshman QB who has played about 4 games without 2 OL on the road and lost by 3 points. Any our coach is just in his 2nd year, not 5th or 6th year like yours is and scrambling for his 6th win.
Once our group of freshman and sophmores grow up and we get a couple more recruiting classes we will be just fine.
