Using Hunt on offense was not a surprise. It had been discussed at the coaches luncheon. He is a world class athlete and I believe if the ball had been thrown a little lower he would have caught it.

throw it to him, let him run it, let him block... Whatever we can do to get him involved... I doubt he would suck at any position on the field except QB, DB or PK.

From my angle, it looked like he would have had a better chance if the ball was thrown higher.

From where we sat in 104, it looked like the ball was thrown way over his head.

Agreed, the ball was over his outstretched arms. I think if it had been looped a little more it would have been better. I think that is what Coach Jones said.

It will be one of the many things we can argue about between now and the bowl game. Other topics to argue about might include (but are not limited to):

- will the 2 geldings make the trip
- will we dust off throwback unis for the game
- will June and the coaching staff break out new Hawaiian style shirts in SMU red and/or blue
- will Craig James, Eric Dickerson, or Lance McIlhenny will make the trip to the game
- what will be Tyler Thompson's pre-game meal, and if/when he will offer it back up on the sidelines
- will Margus Hunt be permanently converted to offense

I could go on, but this is just a reminder that those discussions would be much more interesting then any of those we had this time last year because we are going to a BOWL GAME BABY!

I've already been booked to Hawaii and that's where were headed but I wouldn't turn down a shot at the Championship-are some of you saying that we should? June is just a different cat-he likes to cause controversy-like throwing to an Estonion DE Olympian for a key 2 point conversion

That throw to Margus was the craziest damn call! Sure, put him in there as a distraction only, and fake it that way, but to really throw it to him? Completely insane.

If you want a HUGE dude to throw to on that play, why not Taylor Thompson? He's only 2 inches shorter than Margus, and he was a TE in high school. Oh, and the fact that this isn't his first season playing football actually increases the chances of that play ever succeeding. But hey, whatever. We won, we're heading to a bowl game, so HELL YES!

can't argue with that.
