Me TOO!! I would LOVE to have a Hawaiian style shirt (ala JJ's sideline black one he wears). It doesn't have to be black, but how about some red/blue/white orchid's or other flowers and the read pony on the chest. Something very cool, very comfortable and very Hawaiian.

After approximately 10 calls to SMU public relations, media relations, and athletics, with nary a return call one... I got tired of waiting. SMU's own website does not show the Peruna logo as a trademark of any sort (only once you add the SMU above it does it become trademarked, according to the site) http://smu.edu/logos/peruna/default.asp

The people I did talk to were unable to provide me any documentation that the Peruna logo (by itself) is trademarked. I've talked to several. This is the exact same logo used by J. J. Pearce and Grapevine high schools in the Dallas area.

I made a cute t-shirt, nothing more, nothing less. There is no SMU verbiage, no SMU logotype, no SMU nothing.

Thought someone here might be interested. Sorry that Cafe Press is a bit on the expensive side. They were the only ones I could find that would print on demand, rather than me ordering a lot of inventory. I don't do this for a living, and am not planning to in the future. I just thought it was a fun design. Started out as a wallpaper.

You picked the right Mustang logo - Good job!

Most of the JJ Pearce stuff I see has the "other" runnning mustang logo - the one with the larger hindquarters and more of an "S" curl in the tail.

The more streamlined mustang - the one you picked - is the official SMU logo.
