Darn! I was hoping it was a ticket and that you would contest it and take it to a jury trial and that I would have jury duty that day!

Good thing you got left off the jury, Stallion and jt would not have been able to post if a potential juror was viewing the chat room.

Every time I get called for jury duty I just tell them I'm an engineer. I'm usually dismissed right after anyone who works in law.

Same here, but I also make a point of wearing a coat and tie...very few of the others there do. The others look like they are enjoying casual Friday.

94's uncle is a good judge.

In fact, Dallas County has convicted and intended to "fry" about 20 innocent defendants-probably about 6 times more than any county in the country. Not something to be proud of.

Just got my jury summons for early February.

They don't fry them anymore, just give them the needle. No one is truly innocent.
