As someone who witnessed firsthand the debacle at Washington State earlier this year I can't fault Bo for his effort. The results were not what any of us wanted but Bo was by all accounts someone who totally bought into what this coaching staff is trying to instill in these kids. Best of luck to him wherever he goes.

Don't understand the harsh words toward BLM.

By all accounts a total stand-up guy who represented our school well.

I wish he had stayed as we could use a QB with 2 years RnS experience but understand his wanting to play elsewhere.

Does he really have a shot at going to the NFL? Isn't that the only reason you transfer to Eastern Washington to possibly play for 2 more years? Or do a lot of these kids just want to play, period?

I'm sure BLM just wants to play.

I can't fault the way he's handled the situation or his effort..... he just lacks the mental skills necessary to be a decent QB at SMU.

As for a backup - Padron did better in game 1 than BLM did against a DI-AA team. I'm sure our other recruits will be similar.

I'm not saying he's stupid anymore than a RB suited for running out of the I may not be suited for running out of the shotgun. The guy is an INT machine when under pressure. Something about the offense causes him to not throw it well in that situation.

Would he be a great QB in a totally different situation? We'll see.

They air it out at EWU and that'll get Bo Levi NFL looks. His D-1 experience in a pass-based spread offense should give him a leg up on the QBs already on the EWU roster. I doubt he has more than a few cups of coffee in the NFL at best.

There is NO WAY Bo ever sniffs a locker room in the NFL. Not smart or athletic enough. However, if there was a contest for impersonating Eminem and getting heinous tattoos of a nickname you don't deserve, then he'd be an all-star.

Failures at SMU that succeed elsewhere cast a negative light upon the program. BM's continuing failure provides a greater benefit for SMU. If BM succeeds elsewhere, it will be said to be a matter of coaching, making June Jones appear to be the reason for his failure at SMU.

SMU needs to establish itself as a place where players are accurately assessed, not a place athletes escape only to go to the NFL. Wishing BM well is wishing that SMU thrive in its inability to develop talent.

May BM's continuing losses mount so that none may deny the genius of our generals! May BM's brother continue to tell the world of his brother's greatness, no matter how absurd and ridiculous it makes him appear!
