Okay, I eat my words. Phillips is now in the game. I have no idea as to why Tate was in there to begin with, after two major screw ups in the first half. Phillips should have been in there more in the first and to start the second. Inexcusable.

Swann can't understand why "week after week" we continue to get penalties on special teams for clips. Basically, the odds of those penalties increase when your guys are trying to make blocks despite being SLOWER than their opponents. What I saw against UTEP is that we appear to be a step slower than everyone we've played this year

Down on our 35..2nd and 2..we're missing tackles. As the announcer says.. Fresno scores and the game is out of reach. Sad state when the offense is taken so lightly (and rightly so)

ArkPony: I think that's why we get blown out so often. We just don't have the playmakers on offense to compete. At some point, it's easy for the defense to pack it in knowing they have no chance of winning unless they can do the scoring. We started this game with a safety and by contrlling field position the entire 1st half...only to come away with a whopping 3 pts from this offense.

It's too bad we don't have better fan support, because it would have been nice these past few years to schedule a I-AA opponent we ight be able to beat instead of TTech and Okie St.

Bad call. 20-11. Kick the EP, then go for two next time if it happens. You don't go for two on the first TD.

I agree completly. Only justification I can think of is first the hope to catch Fresno off guard and second, our kids are so young they would be less tense at this point than the next. Still agree though should have kicked it.

I was thinking the same thing. Kick the point and be down 8 to at least give our guys hope that one more TD would put us in position to get the tie. Missing the two pointer means you need two scores, once again putting pressure on the D or special teams to score.

For once our defense by in large showed up but our iron deficient offense still dominates our patheticc attempt to play football.

That is true ponyte. I see great potential for the future, but this sure could have been a win. Wish we could see more of Phillips.
