Yes, that's who would pay for the time at the workout facility and give him some pocket change. However since he's a borderline draft pick, the agent better be careful on how much money he's fronting.

What, you want pictures?

I don't accept things at face value. We keep hearing this stuff time after time after time. He's mentioned it. Everybody else.

I have yet to hear exactly how his mom is doing, how his kids are doing and what he has been doing in the interim. The agent question was rhetorical.

If he's going to throw the sick mom and uncle and kid card out there, then he damn well owes it to those how that stuff is coming along.

Otherwise, there is part of me that believes it could be preying on people's emotions.

Unless you know him, his family or a close friend, I guess you just have to take his word on it.

The media likes to cover stories like this, so maybe around the draft you'll see a story from the DMN and/or one of the local TV stations detailing the situation?

The well being of his family is no one's business. That's probably the most ridiculous statement you have ever made. He has no reason to give any reason to anyone. What he chooses to disclose is his business. And once again it doesn't really matter because his two choices were a. Go pro b. Sit out next year because of grades

Papa Dia declined to comment on what his personal family issues were and he is a half world away from them. McNeal made it our business when he invoked those ideas as for his reason to transfer here. He the school and the NCAA could have kept it quiet. Now we can't ask how things are? Don't hande that baloney. We're all talking about it bc he brought it up. He also brought it up when he announced he was turning pro.

You can't have it both ways - at least not from me.

why is it our business and why do we need to know? He is gone for good after maintaining his academic eligibility and giving us a great season. His being eligible to play without setting out was between him and the NCAA. Yes we were told what the basic reasons were but there is nothing that requires any additional transparency. You are such a drama queen!

Let's play what if - if the NCAA denies that hardship waiver last summer, you think he's close to sniffing this campus?

Does this kid owe some of you money? Who cares why he wants to leave? Family, money, or anything else for that matter. You can't hold it against a kid for wanting to go pro. You are never guaranteed you next play. One injury and its over (Bradford). If you have the chance to go, you go. And to everyone who lays down the degree argument. Once you've made your money, you can always go back for that little sheet of paper. Go get paid #8!

Come on man, you're passing judgement on a kid you don't even know. What are you trying to do, change the way we view him? If you've got a problem, go meet him and let him know what you think. Making anonymous personal comments about someone you don't know is really weak...

How many of us does McNeal know us. But yet he volunteered all this stuff.

Hey, I want the guy to succeed. I've said that before. I wish him no I'll will. I just want a little consistency in this story.
